Ten Powerful Steps to Keep Your Focus!

Focus is what keeps you on track to reaching your goals and objectives. Any worthwhile goal requires sustained effort and keeping that effort going is sometime extremely difficult. To help you keep your focus on your goals, the following ten steps will prove to be invaluable. Why? Because most people fail in their attempt to string together enough of the momentum, desire, energy and persistence that they need to reach their goals. In short, they give up too early on in the process.

If you want to be successful in reaching your goals, you must keep your focus. These ten steps are the working components to maintaining your focus, your energy and your optimism while pursuing your goal.

1. Develop powerful believe systems. With a powerful and positive belief system you can create the right reasoning and will to keep yourself on course. Make them so powerful and real that you can't help but to get excited about them. Excitement and belief is a powerful tool.

2. Make is real - Put it in writing. Make it real but putting your goals, reasons, objectives and beliefs in writing. When it is in writing it is real and can be reviewed and utilized as a constant source of encouragement. Eventually, your goals and objectives become branded in your mind.

3. Use the power of visualization. Visualize your goal and make it real. When you can visualize your self-reaching your goal and how great it will feel, you imprint that desire into your being and focus your energy and mind into reaching it. Soon your visualization will become a magnet attracting you to your goal and your goal to you.

4. Use the power of positive affirmation. Keep telling yourself in a present tense and positive statement of what you want to achieve. Sensory rich affirmations are the key to your success. They build the belief systems and sensory systems for reaching your goals.

5. Plan your course. Build your plan for reaching your goal. Your plan becomes your roadmap and helps you to determine the best course to follow. Most entrepreneurs start with only a dream and fail because they didn't take the time to build the roadmap. With planning comes the ability to develop measure.

6. Measure your progress. You can't control your progress unless you can analyze your progress. Create a system and timetable to measure your progress. How are you doing? Are you on course? Do you need to make corrections and if so, what? You need to do this important step on a regular basis. This gives you control.

7. Maintain your support system. Use a mentor or a mastermind group. Surround yourself with people who will help you and encourage you. That is the beauty of the Golden Hardhat Program. You have someone to help you, challenge you, and encourage you and to show you the best way to your goals. You also can tap into others from the group who will work with you to help you in the Mastermind Meetings. Utilize this mentoring system to help you and to keep you on track. Become accountable to it and do the work.

8. Focus on a few. Keep your focus on only a few goals at a time. You can achieve what you want but not everything. Concentrate you time and energy on the most important.

9. Do something everyday! The best way to make it happen is to do something that will make it happen each and every day. Even if its only 15 minutes or so, it?s better than doing nothing. Give your goal daily attention. You build a home by driving each necessary nail one at a time. You'll reach your goal by doing something on it each and every day.

10. Celebrate your milestones. Mark your successes and acknowledge yourself for your progress. Set milestones and as you achieve them give yourself recognition in some manner. This will stimulate you and allow you to see your other milestones in a very positive manner. You deserve to succeed and you deserve to celebrate your successes.
